Just in case you were wondering what on earth is happening, the retune on 19th September did not go according to plan. Changes to the High Definition and Adult stations did not take place. They are now expected to be carried out on 17th October, so that's another date on which to retune for your diary, though put it in as tbc because it could change!
The changes involved in this fiasco are to station numbers. There are no transmission frequency changes. This means that if you do not retune some stations will still "work". However, a station number may then show the wrong station name. Any station which moves to a number not previously used will not show up in your list and not be receivable. Having said all that, some more recent equipment can adjust the situation automatically by retuning for you. It all depends!
It may be worth remembering that stations 1 to 49 are not going to be affected by any of this current situation, so if those are all you use, sit back and let it all wash over you!
Here is a link which states exactly what did happen on the 19th September:
19 September Freeview Changes Summary
There are also some on-screen warnings now appearing regarding a further change on 3 October. It appears this concerns only two relay transmitters in Sussex. However, if any further information appears which suggests Rowridge will be affected, that will be posted here.
